We are hosting a repeat of our workshop with Efe Çakır on electronic circuits, synthesizer building, and musical instrument design. A dedicated class will be formed for this event. Participation is limited. The workshop focuses on building a 4-oscillator analog drone synthesizer. The session will start on Sunday, November 10th, at 13:00, and will last approximately 5-6 hours.
All PCBs and electronic components for the synthesizer shown in the picture will be provided as part of the workshop fee. You don’t need to bring anything with you. Soldering iron, solder, flux, speakers, batteries, and all necessary materials will be supplied. This workshop is ideal if you have some prior soldering experience.
At the beginning of the class, you will receive all components and a set of schematics and notes about the synthesizer. We will start with basics such as "What is electricity?", "Introduction to electronic components", and "How to read schematics". Then, we will proceed step-by-step to understand each part of the synthesizer, such as "What is an oscillator?" and "What is a VCA?".
At the end, we will all play the synthesizers we have built together.
