We are organizing a repeat of our workshop on electronic circuits, synthesizer, and musical instrument design and assembly with Efe Çakır. A class will be formed for the upcoming workshop. Participation is limited. The focus of the workshop will be on building a 4-oscillator analog drone synthesizer. The class will start at 11:00 AM on Sunday, March 23rd, and will last approximately 5-6 hours.
All the PCBs and electronic components needed to build the synthesizer shown in the photo will be fully provided as part of the workshop fee. You don’t need to bring anything with you. Soldering irons, solder, flux, speakers, batteries, and other necessary materials will be supplied by us. If you have soldered a few times before, this workshop will be perfect for you. At the beginning of the class, all electronic components will be handed over, along with schematics and notes about our synthesizer. We will start with introductory topics like “What is electricity?”, “Basic information about the electronic components used,” and “Reading schematics.” Then, step by step, we will explore the synthesizer section by section, understanding how each part works, such as “What is an oscillator?” and “What is a VCA?”. At the end of the class, we will play our synthesizers together.
