We are organizing a repeat of our workshop on electronic circuits, synthesizer, and musical instrument making and design by Efe Çakır. A class will be formed for this upcoming workshop. Participation is limited. The workshop topic will be the construction of a 4-oscillator analog drone synthesizer. The lesson will start at 11:00 AM on Sunday, April 6, and will last approximately 5-6 hours.
All PCBs and electronic components of the synthesizer shown in the picture will be fully provided to you as part of the workshop fee. You only need to come to the lesson without bringing anything. Soldering iron, solder, flux, speaker, battery, and other necessary materials will also be provided by us. If you have soldered a few times before, this lesson might be just right for you. At the end of the lesson, the synthesizers you assemble will be yours. At the beginning of the lesson, all electronic components will be handed to you, along with some schematics and notes related to our synthesizer. After introductory topics such as “What is electricity?”, “Basic information about electronic components used,” and “Reading schematics,” we will proceed step by step on the synthesizer, understanding how each section works one by one, such as “What is an oscillator?” and “What is a VCA?”. At the end of the lesson, we will play our synthesizers together.
