Advanced Sampling and Granular Synthesis Techniques Workshop
In this workshop, held in my studio with my own equipment, we will deeply explore the use of sampling and granular synthesis techniques in electronic music. During this intensive four-hour program, we will cover many important topics step-by-step — from the fundamentals of sampling to advanced sample manipulation techniques. Additionally, we will work with various analog and digital tools, primarily Ableton Live, to examine both the technical and creative processes together.
Granular synthesis has become widely used and very popular among producers in recent years. The digital fragmentation and restructuring of sounds is applied across many fields, from film scoring to experimental electronic music. This workshop will be valuable not only for musicians but also for sound engineers, sound designers, foley artists, and filmmakers. Offering both creative and technical perspectives, it addresses a broad range of applications.
Workflow: Ableton Live & Analog Equipment
In this workshop, we will select sounds from different sources (organic and synthetic) and create unique sounds using advanced techniques such as one-shot and loop sampling, granular synthesis applications, sample-based FM synthesis, and multisampling.
