Sampling and Granular Synthesis Techniques Workshop
In this workshop, held in my studio using my own equipment, we will explore the use of sampling and granular synthesis techniques in electronic music in depth. In this intensive four-hour program, we will cover many important topics step by step, starting from the basic concepts of sampling to advanced sample manipulation techniques. Additionally, we will work with various analog and digital tools, primarily Ableton Live, to examine both the technical and creative processes together.
Granular synthesis has become very popular in recent years, used by many producers. The digital fragmentation and restructuring of sounds is applied in a wide range of fields, from film scoring to experimental electronic music. This workshop is not only beneficial for musicians but also for sound engineers, sound designers, foley artists, and filmmakers. Offering both creative and technical perspectives, it caters to a broad range of applications.
Workflow: Ableton Live & Analog Equipment
In this workshop, we will select sounds from different sources (organic and synthetic) to create unique sounds using advanced techniques such as one-shot and loop samples, granular synthesis applications, sample-based FM synthesis, and multisampling.
