Sampling and Granular Synthesis Techniques Workshop
In this workshop held in my studio using my own equipment, we will deeply explore sample usage and granular synthesis techniques in electronic music. During this intensive four-hour session, we will cover many important topics step-by-step, starting from the fundamentals of sampling to advanced sample manipulation. Additionally, we will work with both Ableton Live and various analog and digital tools to examine technical and creative processes together.
Granular synthesis has become very popular among many producers in recent years. The digital fragmentation and reconstruction of sounds are widely used across diverse fields—from film scoring to experimental electronic music. This workshop is not only beneficial for musicians but also highly valuable for sound engineers, sound designers, foley artists, and filmmakers. It offers a broad application range with both creative and technical perspectives.
Workflow:
Sampling and Granular Synthesis: Ableton Live & Analog Equipment
In this workshop, we will select sounds from various sources (organic and synthetic) and create unique sounds using one-shot and loop samples, granular synthesis techniques, sample-based FM synthesis, and multisampling advanced methods.
