Mixer

About the instrument

Designed by VAEMI, the 4 Channel Mixer / Attenuator is a high-precision module that can be used for both audio and control voltage (CV) signals in modular systems.
It carries VAEMI’s signature black panel and blue knob design. Despite its compact size, it delivers high-quality components and an extremely transparent signal path.

Key Features

• 4-channel passive/active mixer and attenuator
• Flexible configuration options:
  • 4-channel attenuator
  • 3-channel mixer + 1 attenuator
  • 2-channel mixer + 2 attenuators
  • 4-channel mixer
• The first three channels operate as passive attenuators, while the fourth channel functions as a buffered (active) attenuator
• DC-coupled design allows full compatibility with both audio and control voltage signals
• Highly accurate, transparent, and noise-free signal transmission
• 10HP width, 25mm depth

This is a fully mono mixer. The first three channels are passive attenuators, and the fourth is an active buffered attenuator.
Thanks to its DC-coupled design, it works perfectly with both audio and CV signals, making it equally useful as a mixer or attenuator for sound and modulation sources.

Why the VAEMI 4 Channel Mixer / Attenuator?

This module is one of the most practical and reliable ways to manage the signal flow of your modular system.
Each channel can be used independently as an attenuator, or you can combine them to mix signals with fine level control.
Its DC-coupled structure lets you mix LFOs, envelopes, and CVs with the same precision as audio.
The active channel prevents signal loss and maintains sound quality, making it ideal for balancing low-level outputs or preserving signal integrity across long patch chains.
